Pros
you will get plenty of hours, you get paid weekly which is good since you will surely live paycheck to paycheck, opportunity to practice patience with unreasonable and demanding customers, ability to eat standing up in the back room on occasion when business is slow since there is no break room, product is of good quality, and great way to meet business men and network for a better job
Cons
they lie to you from the beginning and tell you that you will make commission on everything......you CAN make commission on everything if you work full time and sell atleast 3,000 a day which is absolutely impossible when you work in a store that doesnt sell 3,000 in an entire week sometimes. NOBODY has made commission in our store in years. They have a very high turn over rate, belittle you on a consistent basis, and constantly ride you about sales. They do not hire from within and there is no chance of advancement. The pay is horrible but better than unemployment. They treat the lazy and incompetent the same as the hardworking and knowledgeable. You NEVER get to sit down EVER. Lunch breaks are unheard of. They change the schedule 3-4 times a week then dont let you know about it. Forget about having a life. Over worked, underpaid, and under appreciated.
