The pay wasn't bad for 16 hours a month - Visual Display Associate JoS. A. Bank Employee Review

Pros

Essentially a Visual Display associate will work for 16 hours in a directive month(month where the floorset changes) and 8 hours when it does not change. Great second job. Don't have to dress up or deal with customers.

Cons

Training for Visual Display is horrendous. Two days before we opened I came in with a DM and we rushed to get the mannequins done. They are EXCEPTIONALLY picky about their displays(certain length of cuff, certain ruffles in shirt, tie done a certain way) and yet use VERY outdated mannequins and still pin their clothes(which damages the garment). Also you are only allowed to do the mannequins, meaning no marketing, no signage, no merchandising.

Pros

40% discount and the music is good benefits are okay

Cons

Too much mandatory paperwork to keep up with when dealing with customers during prom, wedding, and graduation season. While simultaneously keeping up with the cleanliness of the floor when customers treat it like it’s a primark.
