Pros

As respectable as retail gets. It's a good place to work without many of the other gimmicks as other retail establishments. They sell a good product, and even if they're going to have to give it away, they sell a lot of it. They are a solid, debt free company that keeps setting sales records and will continue to do so.

Cons

I worked there a year and got a 50 cent raise and that only came after 10 months when they gave me a key holder's position. I'm sorry but 8.50 up to 9 bucks an hour for all that extra work and responsibility isn't worth it. They aren't hurting for money or sales and are quick to tell everyone about it, but they won't give raises to anyone. Leadership makes management run circles for them and it is really unreasonable all they ask of store managers. It's if you don't like it, tough. There's the door. I called a store manager from another store once and asked if he'd be in the next week because I needed to talk to him. Response: "Yeah I'll be here. My kids don't know me anymore, but I'll be here." If you have a family, this isn't the place to be in management, if not...you might have found a gold mine.

Pros

40% discount and the music is good benefits are okay

Cons

Too much mandatory paperwork to keep up with when dealing with customers during prom, wedding, and graduation season. While simultaneously keeping up with the cleanliness of the floor when customers treat it like it’s a primark.
