Pros

Some good people. Good work Hours and care about me spending time with my family.

Cons

This is all my opinion and what I have observed and how I feel. I could be wrong. Where do I begin? What employees say is “awesome” culture is in fact very toxic. I’ve heard higher ups talk crap on thier own employees, when someone is let go the CEO tells the whole company why and it’s very uncomfortable and no one’s business. They fired some amazing and wonderful people and the CEO has the audacity to get in front of everyone and talk about them being fired! It’s so uncomfortable and unprofessional. It is none of our business and it’s not fair to those people let go to defend themselves. There was an incredible person who was recently let go. No one really knows why he was let go and makes everyone nervous! I feel, The CEO brags about himself constantly and his once a week all-hands meetings are such a waste of time that no one pays attention and could easily be an email. He once said, “we could have given everyone a $4000 bonus. But that’s boring! So we are going to Cabo!” And a lot of people couldn’t make it to Cabo and JobNimbus did nothing for them except give them a BS “Swag bag”. They try to drive company culture with cringe games and themes. Like our meeting rooms are named after pop-culture references and has expensive artwork in them that cost a ton. When they could use that money to pay their employees. And that’s the other thing. I feel their pay is unfair because they will only pay you what you are “worth”(education, certs, etc) instead of your performance. So I feel, if you are awesome at your job and bring in the money for them but only have a high school education, good luck on a “raise.” I feel, The CEO has set impossible sales quotas. We are drowning in trying to get to them. We are demoralized. No one likes it and most of us are looking for a new job. I feel, Our PX (peoples experience) makes everyone nervous. We see a lot of games and themes and pop culture decoration they add and it makes me embarrassed to bring friends and family to the office. I feel they are fake and that no one trusts them and we all avoid them like the plague. The benefits are nothing special. They are just like everywhere else. They have cringe names for PTO like, “hero time” and when someone takes PTO The CEO has some poor sap get up during his cringe all-hands meetings and talk about what they did on their PTO. Like it’s elementary school or something. It’s hard to watch. When someone is fired they claim to help them find a new job. I feel that this is not true. I have talked to many fired employees and they all said the same thing. They helped them get 1 interview and they were on their own! I can keep going. But just talking about this place is giving me a migraine. In my opinion, I feel like the JobNimbus ship is sinking and we all can see it. So we are jumping to a less cringe ship that actually pays and doesn’t waste our time with pointless meetings or the CEO talking about himself and his comic book no one heard of or cares to buy.

Thank you for your candid feedback! We are always looking for ways to improve. The hero's journey is part of our mission in “Making Contractors Heroes'', which is why we use popular references to heroes like Luke Skywalker. In regards to celebrating JForce members as they leave their hero's journey, a quote by Yoda comes to mind, “The greatest teacher, failure is.” The intent was a way to wish people well on their next journey, but the impact wasn’t what was intended. We are now asking all departing members of the JForce if they would grant permission for us to celebrate them in their last All Hands Meeting. If you have any other suggestions of how we do this, we are all ears. 100% of the company was invited to join us in Cabo San Lucas for HeroCon. We gave 6 months notice for people to make arrangements to join us for this all expenses paid adventure. We would never want anybody to feel left out, or feel that they are not valued by JobNimbus and its leadership. What a great place to work, though – at a company that offers you a free vacation to Cabo for you and your +1. Maintaining our culture while we scale is our number one priority, and we’re sorry your experience hasn’t reflected that. If you have any other feedback, feel free to reach out to PX with more suggestions. (Although you want to avoid us like the plague, we do care about your happiness.) :) If you still do not feel comfortable speaking with anyone on the PX team, we strongly encourage you to reach out to any leader who you trust. We really care a great deal about all our employees and are here to support you to whatever extent you will allow us.

Pros

Incredible place to work if you are in sales. Great leaders, great VP, great revenue operations… it’s one of the best tech companies in Utah. They take really good care of their employees. We have a hybrid work schedule, they bring us lunch once a week for the 3 days we are in office, and they always a have a ton of fun activities going on that include your family. The work life balance here is great.

Cons

Sometimes leadership expects a lot, but nothing out of the ordinary. They hired A players, and expect A player performance. They hold you to a high standard because they know you are capable of it. Sometimes it can mean early mornings, late nights, and 12 hour days. But if you want to win, this is the place to be. If you want to coast and be average, this can definitely be a con.
