Pros
- Held fun/themed events with catered food - High base salary - Benefits 100% covered for employees
Cons
- Culture of kindness & respect is a front -- employees are seen as numbers and their only priority is to make money. - They hire large groups of employees weekly and also terminate groups of employees regularly once they reach their 90 day mark depending on their billing. Employees are terminated regardless of their activity, progress, without a PIP and even without notifying the employee's direct manager. (low turnover rate they claim to have is skewed) ** Here are a few details of my termination to give background to my statement above. I was encouraged to switch industries 2 months into working for Jobot -- which means not only learning the in's & out's of a new industry but also restarting my pipeline. I got to work asap & brought on a new client with a signed MSA and was actively working 2 solid jobs just a week prior to my 90 day mark. I was keeping up with metrics and pushing out a high number of calls too. However, as soon as my 90 day mark arrived, I received a call from my director letting me know that my role was no longer available and to direct all questions to HR. There were no prior conversations about performance or a PIP put in place, just a transactional termination. I later found out that my manager wasn't even consulted or notified about my termination until after they had pulled the trigger & processed my termination.... and I wasn't the only one this happened to. This is an ongoing process for them. At the end of the day, this is a business but the way this was handled was shady and wrong. Especially for a company who prides themselves on leading with kindness and treating their employees with respect. I was left without a job and only 4 days of medical coverage before the month of October ended. Please don't be fooled by their bogus mission statement.
