Pros

They provide you with decent equipment-desk, monitors, laptop, etc. (But if you leave or are let go within two years of being there you have to MAIL IT ALL BACK Or you can buy it all from Jobot for a 50% discount (still expensive) so thoughtful of them) Every other Friday off is nice too.

Cons

Let's start with the fact they don't mention at any time before or after you start you're on a DRAW with your comp structure. That is pretty important info when starting a base + commission position and understanding what you need to cover your salary & to bonus.. You're made to feel like you're joining "the Jobot family" but people are so worried about their own performance and book of business good luck being truly collaborative and constantly feeling behind the 8ball I came from sales/business development strictly and when I was told about running a full-desk and voiced a concern about me not having any recruiting experience, they said "don't worry, just crush it from the AE/BD side"--uhhh ok? Your daily activity is heavily monitored, and you have no negotiation power with clients in setting up agreements. You have to default all your agreements to your managers and if they don't like the structure or even one part of an agreement, they'll tell you no-can-do and find another buyer The whole sales approach they pushed on us felt slimey--selling candidates we didn't even have yet to companies, submitting candidates to clients without even clearing them first or seeing if they're available/interested. A first-to-market approach that did not work for me (and does not work for everyone) at all and I began to just feel crappy about the quality of work I was putting forth. Clients wanting to interview candidates I submitted and who knows if he/she is even available, just bizarre stuff that did NOT amount to better business relationships. My position ended probably like a lot of others--a random call from the division manager saying my position is no longer available--my direct manager wasn't even on the call nor did I hear from him. Their are definitely some good eggs @ Jobot.. alot of my team were great people, I just think people should know what they're getting into before joining--it's a numbers game to them, they expect 30 clients in the first 90 days (that's laughable) and they have their most successful/seasoned employees meet with everyone and share their tactics in hopes that some others have similar successes Staffing/recruiting has everything to do with relationship building and Jobot only wants to know if you're getting starts from those relationships.. but don't forget KINDNESS & RESPECT

incredible 100% paid benefits and leadership, every other Friday off, truly one of the best organizations I have ever worked for

Cons

None, they keep making decisions to benefit our consultants, clients, and employees overall. I will be here until I retire :)

Pros

Fully remote, full autonomy, free Friday’s, incredible leaders and colleagues, the list goes on. I can’t say enough great things about this company. CEO is a brilliant woman and you’d never know or expect this in a company this size but she knows every single employee by name, whether you’re at the tippity top or barely moving the needle. Jobot is everything it claims to be, plain and simple. When they claim kindness and respect is the foundation of their company, they live by those words.

Cons

This isn’t necessarily a con but this industry is NOT for the weak. It is a grind and then some. If you are not willing to grind and work hard, this is not the job for you.
