Pros

-Free Fridays and unlimited PTO sounded like a good idea until you realize you are working 50 to 60 hours every single week. -I made great friends while there,

Cons

-The training is horrendous, basically a series of unorganized video clips for you to watch. -You take experienced recruiters that have performed at a very high level and on day one you take all of their tools away. You ask them to rely on your internal AI which you keep telling everyone is the greatest thing since sliced bread. While in reality your AI is like a slow child, not nearly as intelligent as you proclaim it to be, -If you have great clients at your current job, you need to ask them if they have worked with Jobot, because if they have they will not be able to work with you. Even if the recruiter who owns the account is under performing. -They demand that you to post 45 jobs at all times, even without having signed agreements in place. Why do this? It's bad policy in my opinion, but I guess the company is truly becoming a resume farm. -They cut over 200 people suddenly and without warning and without any severance, not even the customary 2 weeks you would expect. - They lie consistently about the companies financial well being. -The company that claims to have a culture of kindness decides to make an April Fools Day joke claiming the C-level managers were now open to work. They were quickly called out on it and they deleted all the posts. Why do this after you just cut over 200 people? My theory is when attempting to hire new recruiters and they get asked about all the layoffs, they can play it off and say it was just an April fools joke. We didn't actually let go of all those people. -I saw red flags from the beginning and I ignored them, because I respected many of the recruiters I was working with. I thought they must know something I don't, so I ignored my instincts and stayed way too long. -Everything this company has done in the last 6 months points to an upcoming sale. Which is why many of the companies top performers are jumping ship quickly. -Stay away from this company. It's pretty and luxurious from the outside, but it is the Titanic.

Cons

None, they keep making decisions to benefit our consultants, clients, and employees overall. I will be here until I retire :)

Pros

Fully remote, full autonomy, free Friday’s, incredible leaders and colleagues, the list goes on. I can’t say enough great things about this company. CEO is a brilliant woman and you’d never know or expect this in a company this size but she knows every single employee by name, whether you’re at the tippity top or barely moving the needle. Jobot is everything it claims to be, plain and simple. When they claim kindness and respect is the foundation of their company, they live by those words.

Cons

This isn’t necessarily a con but this industry is NOT for the weak. It is a grind and then some. If you are not willing to grind and work hard, this is not the job for you.
