Pros

There are several pros: - Many of the people are incredible and hardworking. - Many recruiters are working to find the best opportunities for their candidates and service their clients honestly. - Free Fridays are great when your manager doesn't lie to you by telling you to work because he will be working. (He won't work his free Friday but needs to try and look like he does) - The gift baskets for closers were great, but they stopped sending them, and to us about why, and said that they would return.

Cons

There are an increasing amount of cons, and the number will continue to rise: - Our benefits were shut off for the second time in two years. We were told by "HR" that it was due to the renewal process. That was an outright lie. They had not paid the bill. They told us to keep our receipts and that we should be reimbursed. - There are some genuinely awful managers. One manager, in particular, has had multiple females request to leave his team due to his disrespectful behavior. This manager's lack of management or leadership skills has resulted in his team's staggering 100% turnover. - Internal recruiters steal candidates, enter incorrect phone numbers to prevent candidates from being contacted, and steal clients. Depending on how long they worked there and if they worked at the identical previous company, they are given a pass. - Senior Management preaches a cult-like atmosphere surrounding the owner, and everyone is afraid to question her or her second in command. You are pressured to give glowing reviews on surveys and Glassdoor. If not, your boss will be informed, and pressure will be placed on you to change your answer. - Overrides are not paid. They make up every excuse and retroactively make police to prevent you from being paid. Commission on continually miscalculated. - Accounts Receivable misplaced invoices, received calls demanding payment for paid invoices, and only communicated with the recruiters when it was too late. - There is no performance management. With no notice, people are summarily fired ( not laid off to keep turnover numbers positive). Recruiters in their 8th month of pregnancy are terminated, and benefits and pay are stopped that day. There is no severance after years of service, benefits are stopped that day, and communication from "HR" is insufficient and questionable. - There is no training except what your manager could show you. This is problematic when your "manager" has zero technical ability, can not work with Teams, and is computer illiterate. The training most people receive is to tell clients you have the perfect candidate; when they tell you to send over the candidate, find a resume in the “AI” database and send it over. This means send a resume of someone you have never spoken to, might not be interested, and has no idea you are submitting them to clients. A VP told us this.

Pros

incredible 100% paid benefits and leadership, every other Friday off, truly one of the best organizations I have ever worked for

Cons

None, they keep making decisions to benefit our consultants, clients, and employees overall. I will be here until I retire :)

Pros

Fully remote, full autonomy, free Friday’s, incredible leaders and colleagues, the list goes on. I can’t say enough great things about this company. CEO is a brilliant woman and you’d never know or expect this in a company this size but she knows every single employee by name, whether you’re at the tippity top or barely moving the needle. Jobot is everything it claims to be, plain and simple. When they claim kindness and respect is the foundation of their company, they live by those words.

Cons

This isn’t necessarily a con but this industry is NOT for the weak. It is a grind and then some. If you are not willing to grind and work hard, this is not the job for you.
