Pros
Employee discount on the food is nice. Lots of young people work there so the environment is friendly and fun.
Cons
Since mainly 18-22 year olds work here, people constantly call out and show up late. There are usually no consequences for this. In addition, upper management expects you to be doing something at all times during the shift. If the store is slow and employees are hanging out, they'll tell you to start cleaning, prepping more stuff, etc. Yes, there are times where this is necessary, but they pay employees terribly and expect top-notch work. Lastly, they sometimes give full-time employees less than full-time hours depending on the time of year. They don't care if you have to pay rent or support a child. If someone leaves the store or gets transferred and shifts open up, they'll replace that person immediately. Even if several employees are willing to pick up these newly opened shifts, they'll fill it immediately. I was vocal about this several times since I was giving them full-time availability and had to support myself, but my manager didn't seem to care
