Thank you for expressing your thoughts and concerns. John Muir Health welcomes and encourages employee feedback and questions regarding our work environment, whether an employee is still with the organization or has since moved on. We’re sorry that you had such a negative experience during your time with us.
We encourage employees to quickly bring concerns of favoritism to the attention of their manager, leadership and Human Resources. This step aligns with our culture, policies and Brand Promise of, “We Listen, We Explain and We Work Together as a Team”. John Muir Health enforces these clearly written policies that prohibit discrimination and harassment in the workplace as well as allegations of misconduct, which include bullying and / or favoritism. Claims or allegations such as these are investigated fully and addressed swiftly and will not be tolerated. Our expectation is that all employees are aware of and understand the importance of reporting these behaviors to their manager as well as Human Resources.
Thank you again for your feedback as a former employee. It is our every intention to ensure our workplace exceeds employees’ expectations and that their employment experience with us is a growing and rewarding one. As indicated above, we invite current employees to take advantage of our "Open-Door" policy, and speak with their manager, director and Human Resources. We also welcome you to reach out to Human Resources and engage in our exit interview process, either through the emailed survey or with a representative.
