Pros

Pay is excellent. Good work-life balance. If time off, work-at-home or flex-time is important to you, then this is the place to be.

Cons

Limited growth opportunities. Very strong not-invented-here syndrome - staff members take pleasure in shooting down new ideas (then copying them later). In many cases, we're twenty years behind the times (like in quality management). Management focuses on time cards rather than accomplishments. An almost marxist obsession with equality among staff members (great if you like punching the clock). Lack of interpersonal skills among staff members.
