Pros

Company take home vehicle, Tools and Licenses paid for by company, "Drive time" compensation (with a catch). Paid vacation and sick leave. Paid holidays. Safety training readily available.

Cons

Communication between departments (Service, Install, Inspections) hardly happens. Communication from office, management, or corporate is several lacking. They have allotted time to speak with the Management team now which is nice but this is usually how that goes. Corporate>Management>Office/Field employees. Field employees still dont have a voice because when we criticize them to do better there is usually retribution involved. Little to any training on important industry principles or programs. Leadership takes a more reactive stance on important issues versus being proactive about fixing issues. Safety nuts. Half to wear a bump cap, Safety glasses, steal toe boots and gloves everywhere. Our job doesn't even render that a necessity 24/7 and at times it gets in the way of what your doing. There's safe and then there is ridiculous.

Pros

Decent base pay and fast paced work makes the days go by quickly. Lately the company has been actually investing in their new product lines ever since Joakim became our CEO.

Cons

The compensation is lacking. No bonuses whatsoever for senior level engineers even when they're recognized as a key contributor on the team. We are given our 401k match on March 1st to cover the previous year's matches so you lose out on a lot of the year's market gains. The healthcare coverage is mediocre at best for a fortune 500 company. The raises are still given like it's 2018; 3% is considered a "good" merit increase. This is due to the "forced distribution" merit increase system where only "so many" people can receives "above expectations" raises.
