The best place in town, but that's not saying much. - Certified Nursing Assistant CNA Josephine Caring Community Employee Review

Pros

*The pay, when I worked there, was competitive. Shift differential made working NOC worth it. *The residents will love you like their own grandkids if you actually take care of them. *The facility is relatively clean and well-kept compared to similar places.

Cons

*Management has zero idea what's going down on the floor. They claim that they care about employees, but they refuse to hire more staff to cover shortages. *It's an unspoken rule that if you're called to cover a shift, you will cover that shift. If you refuse for any reason, pretty much everyone will start treating you badly. *The drama is unreal, but it's like that in healthcare. *The nurses can be catty and typically refuse to help CNAs with anything.

Pros

Great people-staff and residents! Lots of staff appreciation, free food,

Cons

Pay isn’t great, sometimes there are staff that don’t take there job seriously. High CNA turnover, always more work than staff.
