Pros

Great atmosphere to work in and you almost always have fun on your shifts, and the 40% discount doesn't hurt either!

Cons

Zero work life balance. When you are brought in as a co manager you are told that you have a minimum of 45 hours a week you need to work and if you want to make a little extra money from sales you can work more. That's wrong. The real minimum is around 55 hours a week. I was there for almost a year and averaged 58 hours a week. You generally only get 1 day off and your hours don't count against the budget so that don't want you scheduling many part time hours so they don't have to pay them. If you do the math for their base pay plus the commission you work and then divide it by the hours you work you are making around minimum wage. Sure hitting and exceeding your sales goal can make your check look nice during the peak times, but when it's slow It's almost impossible to get enough commission to equal over 8 or 9 dollars an hour.
