Pros

families are awesome. Great people to work with all around in all of my nanny experience thus far

Cons

PAY-this is by far the worst position I've had when it comes to that. the pay schedule is even worse!!!!! they don't pay you til two weeks after you work one week. It's not sustainable. Schedule! you better be ready to drop everything and go babysit if you have your open availability. If not, they might yell at you or possibly let you go. I would stay away from this company for that reason alone. Its all control on a computer system and it updates it when you put your availability in. I don't agree with other reviews that its flexible either. sometimes they have too many sitters and there isn't enough work. JUST stay away from this, go out on your own. I never felt like I could not say no to a family that I didn't match well with because then they would give me hours. And finally; the worst one. They will send you all over the area for VERY low pay. You won't get that money back. you will put a lot of mileage on your car. it doesn't matter that you put your address on there. I think it's strange to depend on a computer system that much and it takes away the human aspect of understanding that people have lives and things come up.

Pros

Flexibility in scheduling, feeling like I am appreciated and enjoying caring for families who value me as an employee.

Cons

I don’t have anything negative to say about this company. I have have been for over 12+ years. I think that sums it up.

Pros

Help find you a family to work with. I could see how this could perhaps be great for part time

Cons

LOW PAY for the job. After 3 years with Jovie, I was getting paid $16/hr and my full-time family was paying somewhere from $26-28/hr. They told my nanny family I was getting higher raises than I was. MUCH fairer companies out there. No PTO due to "not being salaried employees" even though that's not how PTO works! Constantly nagged about logging in my hours even though I was always on top of it. Going through them was a pain. Don't recommend. Always wondered if why they rebranded from College Nannies and Sitters was to try to separate from all the negative reviews.
