Pros

Jovie management is some of the most supportive people out there. They go out of their way to make sure that you have what you need to have a good experience. They are extremely responsive. It doesn't matter if it is 7PM on a Sunday if you need someone you are gonna get supported. They really take care of you. You are not just a number to them. Example, when I first started with them on my first check the direct deposit got delayed but we didn't realize it until Saturday because I was sick and didn't check my bank. My manager drove my check out to me on the weekend so I would have it right away instead of making me wait til Monday. They offer a retirement plan which in the nanny business is unheard-of. Health benefits if you work full-time. They are amazing.

Cons

The only real downside is that there is no tipping, but even that is taken care of. On your badge there is a QR code your client can scan, leave you a 5star review and Jovie will give you $25 on your check which is often times more than you were going to be tipped anyway.

Pros

Flexibility in scheduling, feeling like I am appreciated and enjoying caring for families who value me as an employee.

Cons

I don’t have anything negative to say about this company. I have have been for over 12+ years. I think that sums it up.

Pros

Help find you a family to work with. I could see how this could perhaps be great for part time

Cons

LOW PAY for the job. After 3 years with Jovie, I was getting paid $16/hr and my full-time family was paying somewhere from $26-28/hr. They told my nanny family I was getting higher raises than I was. MUCH fairer companies out there. No PTO due to "not being salaried employees" even though that's not how PTO works! Constantly nagged about logging in my hours even though I was always on top of it. Going through them was a pain. Don't recommend. Always wondered if why they rebranded from College Nannies and Sitters was to try to separate from all the negative reviews.
