Pros

- pay is decent; I was started at $15 an hour - opportunity for raises - very flexible; you set your own schedules - reimbursement for mileage - very community oriented company; put on many company parties/events -company parties/events and even zoom meetings are paid attendance. You get paid to go! - Families as far as FtWorth to Farmers Branch/Prosper/Plano/McKinney

Cons

- Company prefers for schedule to be updated for 3 months ahead, which is kinda hard for a college student if your schedule tends to flunctate a lot - Headquarters does a lot of events in Frisco and Southlake; so it can be far away depending on where you’re located - It’s a pro/con on how you look at it- It’s independent babysitting, but there’s a lot of mandated company events with other babysitters that you’re mandated to go to, of course to build morale. They understand if something comes up though!

Pros

Flexibility in scheduling, feeling like I am appreciated and enjoying caring for families who value me as an employee.

Cons

I don’t have anything negative to say about this company. I have have been for over 12+ years. I think that sums it up.

Pros

Help find you a family to work with. I could see how this could perhaps be great for part time

Cons

LOW PAY for the job. After 3 years with Jovie, I was getting paid $16/hr and my full-time family was paying somewhere from $26-28/hr. They told my nanny family I was getting higher raises than I was. MUCH fairer companies out there. No PTO due to "not being salaried employees" even though that's not how PTO works! Constantly nagged about logging in my hours even though I was always on top of it. Going through them was a pain. Don't recommend. Always wondered if why they rebranded from College Nannies and Sitters was to try to separate from all the negative reviews.
