I have been a part of the Jovie team for 7 years & through all the changes of my life, my management team has been right there with me. Starting out I worked part-time as I still worked my full time teaching job. Years later my circumstances changed and I needed a full time family quickly. It took all of a conversation for my manger to find me the absolute perfect family to nanny for. I’ve been with my placement family for over 2 years and have felt so supported the entire time. To take it a step further, our office wanted to provide more resources & opportunities for their newer hires to be able to utilize & feel connected. Our buddy program was born & it allows members of the team to easily find fun ideas, activities, or even just ask for advice at any point. Jovie truly cares about their employees and the families they serve. The management team goes above & beyond of us all each day & I feel very grateful to be a part of the team.

Help find you a family to work with. I could see how this could perhaps be great for part time

Cons

LOW PAY for the job. After 3 years with Jovie, I was getting paid $16/hr and my full-time family was paying somewhere from $26-28/hr. They told my nanny family I was getting higher raises than I was. MUCH fairer companies out there. No PTO due to "not being salaried employees" even though that's not how PTO works! Constantly nagged about logging in my hours even though I was always on top of it. Going through them was a pain. Don't recommend. Always wondered if why they rebranded from College Nannies and Sitters was to try to separate from all the negative reviews.
