Pros

Working with kids is amazing and fun, they bring so much joy at times.

Cons

There is no benefit at all at this Job, at first I would be able to choose my schedule and manage it but then when I had school project/ classes coming up they would get mad at me for trying to better my life. It’s a lie that you can pick your schedule. I would have to travel and waste my own money to get there. I would put down over $50 for one day and they would not care, not only that but the pay isn’t good at all. A nanny should be paid minimum 20-21 since we meal prep, take the kids to a long walk, play with them and get injured, sometime even get sick. but they decide 18 is good enough in there eyes. I worked for a little over a year and now they are completely ignoring me as if I never worked with them before. Plus jobs were more then 2 hrs away. Would not care at all of my religion and when I would get sick at all. They send people to sick houses then it would be our faults that we got sick. Get it together Jovie mangers, you guys get amazing families but you guys treat the employees like crap.

Pros

Flexibility in scheduling, feeling like I am appreciated and enjoying caring for families who value me as an employee.

Cons

I don’t have anything negative to say about this company. I have have been for over 12+ years. I think that sums it up.

Pros

Help find you a family to work with. I could see how this could perhaps be great for part time

Cons

LOW PAY for the job. After 3 years with Jovie, I was getting paid $16/hr and my full-time family was paying somewhere from $26-28/hr. They told my nanny family I was getting higher raises than I was. MUCH fairer companies out there. No PTO due to "not being salaried employees" even though that's not how PTO works! Constantly nagged about logging in my hours even though I was always on top of it. Going through them was a pain. Don't recommend. Always wondered if why they rebranded from College Nannies and Sitters was to try to separate from all the negative reviews.
