Pros

Pays well, too well maybe

Cons

Is there enough space for this..... I left Juniper on good terms. The challenge for me at the time was there simply was not a job/role/technology that combined to keep my interest so I had to leave. Worked in Security BU and at that time it was going thru the 3rd or 4th reboot to restart the business. I think its now 6th to 7th attempt. I still have many friends at Juniper and people who I know who have joined since I left. I did not plan to write this review but feel compelled to after several reached out to me for advice given the environment they find themselves in now. Toxic VP's who don't know the first thing about people management and are driving people away. Bringing their own people in on hi salaries but are affecting no change into the business whatsoever. Security BU continues to take a downward spiral and I fear its now only a case of who will be around when it finally closes. Recently brought in people leaving in droves and the leadership of that team cannot cope with the scale of the issue and most of the people are leaving because of that lack of leadership, everything from people skills to market direction.

Pros

Competitive salary at time of hiring with bonus and RSU's. Good benefits and unlimited time off.

Cons

Management chose to personally throttle amount of time off of their employees equivalent to a junior workforce member, despite unlimited PTO. Negative and boarder line abusive direct management and lacking in positive team building. Management preference to maintain status quo and minimize risk at cost of employee job satisfaction instead of embracing transformative and design approach.
