Pros
- Lots of holidays and wellness days. - Most of the managers, that are below director level, are good. - Bonuses tended to be pretty decent up until now. They have now changed the pay out to once a year.
Cons
- Quality of everything has been dropping for years. From their support to their operating system. This has caused numerous headaches for their customers and for the employees that have to smooth things over. - They are really hyping AI and AI-driven products that will make many of their employees(and other network engineers) obsolete. - Their first priority is making money, no matter if a person is toxic or the means are unethical. They will sweep legal problems under the rug and have had lawsuits filed against them. - With their upcoming acquisition by HPE, near everyone there is in a panic over what the future holds for them employment-wise. Hiring on now would be a major risk as there will definitely be layoffs. - Juniper makes up such a small section of the marketplace, that engineers have a hard time finding work in other networks after Juniper. - The company has no loyalty to its employees. Many great and long-term employees have been laid off in the past 7 months.
