Pros
The only upside is that the uneven workload can give you exposure to different parts of the role, which is good for learning. The downside is that any extra work, whether you volunteer for it or are assigned, comes with no additional compensation.
Cons
The work environment is highly toxic. Management treats employees like children, monitors nearly every action—including bathroom breaks—and speaks down to staff, creating a sense that you don’t matter. Rules around lunch and leaving the building are strict but inconsistently enforced, fostering unfairness and frustration. The company makes promises to employees that are rarely honored, pays poorly, and provides no raises or bonuses regardless of performance or effort.
