Very short staffed, quite a bit of employee turnover. While the work was remote, I had to move to the State where the Client was. I found out from other employees, they were given the opportunity to stay in their Home State, which led to contention from various people.
Employees are directed/encouraged to give positive feedback on job boards so the company gets recognized.
No work/life balance. You will work long hours to achieve client satisfaction. Low pay for experienced employees. Lower non-performing employees get promoted.
Work creeps out of scope regularly which requires 50-72/hr work week without increase of compensation...anything to keep clients happy.
Management is hit and miss. Responses to concerns are at times late or never responded to.
New hires are not always vetted for skills and may not always be qualified to perform work. This impacts the hard working staff to perform their work and other employees to meet deadlines.
Small firm mindset, high stress, heavy workload, long hours, inadequate training = no work/life balance.
