Pros

I loved the ability to perform remote work from my home. Headhunters are great and very assistive at getting new employees onboarded efficiently. This is a newer company experiencing a great deal of growing pains by trying to accomplish acquire clients/work in a short amount of time. You will never be bored in this job due to the over abundance of work. You will definitely get to work and learn on the fly.

Cons

Very short staffed, quite a bit of employee turnover. While the work was remote, I had to move to the State where the Client was. I found out from other employees, they were given the opportunity to stay in their Home State, which led to contention from various people. Employees are directed/encouraged to give positive feedback on job boards so the company gets recognized. No work/life balance. You will work long hours to achieve client satisfaction. Low pay for experienced employees. Lower non-performing employees get promoted. Work creeps out of scope regularly which requires 50-72/hr work week without increase of compensation...anything to keep clients happy. Management is hit and miss. Responses to concerns are at times late or never responded to. New hires are not always vetted for skills and may not always be qualified to perform work. This impacts the hard working staff to perform their work and other employees to meet deadlines. Small firm mindset, high stress, heavy workload, long hours, inadequate training = no work/life balance.

Pros

I’ve never worked for a company that doesn’t just say they’re employee-first but actually proves it. From leadership's decisions and the day to day interactions, its evident employees are truly valued here. My team is incredibly supportive and encouraging. I’m trusted to be myself and given the opportunity to adjust my processes in ways that make the most sense for the company without question, which has been both empowering and motivating. The benefits are hands down the best I’ve ever had and they continue to improve. This is the only company I’ve worked for where premiums don’t automatically increase every year, and leadership genuinely does everything they can to keep costs affordable for employees by providing 3 different plans to choose from. Having worked in this role across other industries, I can confidently say that my time at K&A has been the most educational, productive, and fulfilling experience of my career so far. I’ve grown professionally while also feeling the support to do so. On top of everything else, the people here are just great — collaborative, kind, and invested in one another’s success.

Pros

This is a great company to work for. Leadership is supportive, approachable, and truly cares about employee success. Communication is clear, expectations are reasonable, and hard work is recognized. The culture is collaborative and respectful, making it easy to stay motivated and grow professionally. I feel valued as part of the team.

No cons at all. Everything is positive
