Pros
The scenery is beautiful.
There are a few good coworkers I had
Cons
The staff overall isn't the best. In the clinic, they can be worse than high schoolers with trying to incite drama. Most people see themselves as the hardest worker and that their peers are incompetent compared to them. They ride on the successes of the few actual hard workers who you'll never hear complain about the workload. People here are either grossly underpaid or the rare, grossly overpaid. There's one member of staff who's paid almost twice the amount I was to sit at a desk and make a couple emails a day. That's it. I worked myself ragged for almost half their pay with little to no thanks.
The turnover rate is awful, the best employees with good intentions get run off by the constant high school antics.
Management fully expects you to go above and beyond your job description, but when asked to do the same, "That's not in my job description."
I've never seen so many people cry at their job until I got hired here and seen locums treated like second-class citizens.
You have a serious problem with somebody? Better be close to someone on the Board of Directors or else they are and you'll be the one punished.
