Pros
Good mission (at least in theory), good pay, mostly flexible hours, good big-company benefits like bonuses, gym discounts, 401(k) and good medical/dental coverages with room to move around the company and grow.
Cons
There is a laundry list of complaints for this company, and I heard them the whole time I was working there (less than a year). I started with very high hopes that they were very quickly dashed by a complete showing of incompetency on management's part. The VPs are very money-oriented, which is fine for most businesses, but they cut costs where they shouldn't be cutting them and act very emotional and unprofessional in many instances. The "director" level personnel (this is not obviously for every single department but is especially true with accounting, the internal communications department and parts of the marketing team) are filled with people who are too outdated in their field to understand the digital age, are too insecure to run a department properly, and/or have never managed people before. The worker bees are mostly very driven and good people who are looking to gain positive experiences and work hard. Sadly, much of the leadership here does not know how to leverage that positive energy and work ethic in an effective and professional manner. I got out of this situation as soon as I could. And don't even get started on the archaic infrastructure this company runs on, which is hilarious given it's a "tech" company. This place needs a complete overhaul of its management personnel and/or off-site management courses if their leadership is going to provide the right kind of management to talented and intelligent minds working for them.
