Pros
The job flexibility and the work we do for students in phenomenal. We have the ability and resources to reach students across the world and all different lifestyles. We can benefit student who are not able to be in a traditional classroom, who choose to not be in a traditional classroom, or have a rigorous extracurricular schedule. The flexibility for teachers is really great. We get to work from home and mostly, set our own schedules. This allows me to meet the needs of my students, but also my family as well.
Cons
It is a business and is run that way. This is both a positive and a negative. Sometimes the focus becomes making sure the students/families remain customers instead of educating them appropriately.
