Pros
Flexibility, ability to help students, good curriculum, caring teachers K12 was founded under guiding principles to help students learn and to provide parents and students options.
Cons
The management is making decisions that are destroying morale and the company. They have lost site of founding principles. They came in trying to build a house from the top down. It is so top heavy, it is about to collapse. They have laid enough so many people they couldn't even process enrollments, but they just paid themselves huge bonuses. They created a new division of the company with no clear job description except to duplicate work already being done. The great new ideas of upper management have failed. Go back to the ways of Packard. Teachers aren't paid a living wage but people who are bankrupting the company are making millions.
