Pros
Close to home. I was not a remote employee, but the office was close to my house.
Cons
-Terrible pay and benefits -Every single person in the Lewisville, TX office is overworked and stressed out. -Too many students for staff (coordinators, registrars, teachers, everyone) to keep up with. One of three schools has over 8,000 students. -Volume of calls and emails so high that no one can keep up and are constantly stressed. -Corporate enrollment center unfamiliar with Texas specific regulations; causes enrollment issues that local office must try to fix. -Enrollment center just wants to reach enrollment number goals--don't care about families. -ZERO support for employees who are parents. They are expected to put in as much overtime as young, single employees. -Overtime is expected. My office was offering nearly 20 hours a week of overtime, and only those who took it were recognized. -Management will listen when you are stressed out, but do not offer any support or suggestions to help you. -I like to put my best foot forward and stay positive, even when I am super stressed. I was chastised and told that my lack of showing my stress indicated that I didn't care about my job.
