Pros

You get to work from home.

Cons

You will constantly be blamed for EVERYTHING. Your job will change weekly, if not daily. They will give you WAY more than the max of 250 students period. I was teaching over 370 classroom students as well as had a homeroom of over 70 kids, and I had LOW numbers compared to most other teachers. There is no pay raise. The management know NOTHING about education, but will try to tell you to change everything you are doing. The school does SEVERAL illegal things from embezzling money from the state to violating state testing protocol. I recommend to stay away.

Pros

Great collaboration with highly professional colleagues who truly care about teaching and education. Work remotely.

Cons

Insufficient training for the many responsibilities of the position. Insufficient follow-up from the upper administration on said responsibilities. Workload increased to levels that made completion of said workload difficult (with putting in extra hours without added compensation) to basically impossible. Difficult to change roles (at least, in my position). Many additional hours away from the classroom, which greatly disrupted educational continuity.
