Pros
You are left alone for most of your shift, permission may be granted to listen to music after the lobby is closed. If you stay in this position you will have a set schedule and constant hours as it only takes place in the evening and are an important part of the store's functioning. Once you learn how to do the job, you can mostly be left alone to do your work.
Cons
The company will try to get you to cross train to do meal prep and other food handling tasks (I advise resisting this). You will, often at times, have to pick up behind coworkers reducing your personal work time. A bad team will interfere with your ability to get your job's work done. At times the pile-up of work will prevent you from doing the big cleaning projects your are responsible for. Most of the time you will be doing dishes and your time to do tasks like scrubbing floors, cleaning windows, and other such time draining tasks will be between periods of catching up dishes. There will probably be times that the managers and or crew pull you away from your work to help them that will get in the way of you doing your tasks. If pushed into cross training, your scheduling will no longer be consistent as they will cross train others to do your job. If cross trained, you will be working multiple jobs and always be behind on tasks leading to stress.
