Pros
Not a demanding job to apply for as far as qualifications/experience needed Staff allowance on food for breaks, if desired It's a social job so you'll have plenty opportunity to talk to people, though this may also be a con if that's not your thing There is scope to progress to higher roles such as team leader, store management, area management and so on; though I'm not sure how accessible this is or what those roles are like
Cons
It's minimum wage for the team member role Staff turnover and absences, so may frequently be struggling with less experienced and/or lack of staff on shifts It's fast food, so be prepared for negative experiences with customers, store managers taking out their stress (from customers and upper management) on you This maybe a con or a pro depending on who you are, and I had to write this in one of the boxes, but the nature of the job is a limited number of repetitive tasks, so this could be one person's monotony or another person's pleasantly predictable routine Depends on how you feel personally, but again it is selling fast food in a for-profit company, so you may not find it to be the most personally satisfying job if you want to feel like you're making a real contribution to the world overall; but you could still make someone's day with a friendly smile and pleasant conversation
