Pros
I’ve been at kind for over 3 years and have had an amazing journey so far. To me, KIND has always given me new and exciting opportunities that I don’t think I would have been able to get at a bigger company. There are many aspects of this company that make me proud: what we preach and practice regarding our mission, transparency to the team (sometimes it could be better though), a sense of what you do makes a difference, and so much more.
I think the experience you get from KIND really depends on you. I’ve always set out to take on my job as if the company belonged to me and as such, I’ve been treated with respect by all team members throughout the organization. I have been able to work on many projects that have helped me grow professionally and personally, and I often feel like I am heard by the leadership team.
Like any job, there are always areas for improvement. KIND is often moving a 100 mph and it is up to you to figure out how to manage it. It is a great opportunity to learn, but some people can’t keep up, don’t speak up, and ultimately aren’t able to succeed. As I said, KIND is what you make of it.
I know that KIND will continue to grow and I look forward to the new challenges it will bring.
Cons
The office space can be a bit tight. KIND is also growing rapidly and it’s loosing a bit of the close knit feel it once had.
