Not worth the time and money - Anonymous employee KIPP Schools Employee Review

Hours are way too long. Expectations for teachers are way too high. There were never any consistent systems for behavior. When a student should have been kicked out, administration kept giving second chances because they didn't want to lose a student. If you are single and have nothing but time in the world, then this is the job for you, but for someone married with a family, it's just too much. So much is expected to be done outside the classroom and there is just not enough time.
