Working at Kipp is a horrible experience. You will be micromanaged, stalked, and given absurd expectations. Talked down and graded on performance as if you are a child. Administration is horrible and does not do their job. They operate like a cult and the favorites are given special treatment. The administration is horrible abusive and colleagues will run and tell administration your every move or what is said in private amongst one another. You cannot even have a bathroom break without administration asking where you are. The children are severely behind and on a kindergarten level but somehow they expect you to teach them at their grade level. They will force you to teach content that you do not specialize in and everything is about data and the network. This is nothing but a business scamming low income urban communities. None of the teachers are certified and the test scores are a testament to the quality of education here. The students are failing severely but administration will force you to change their grades and pass them to the next level despite them not being able to read, write, spell, or do simple math.
