KKR has been nothing but bad news since they bought us - Operations KKR Employee Review

Since KKR bought GA, we have seen our bonuses slashed. Which is an issue because most of us count as part of our pay, which is low. We have also been given triple the work, which they are calling learning opportunities with no additional pay. Employees who worked extended hours used to be paid a pay differential KKR got rid of that. They also are cutting our work from home days. Operations did great with their metrics. The reward for that was for them to become harder. Accommodations that were given to employees for medical/disability are under review. At least once a month someone from KKR comes to our office and just walks around glaring at people. He doesn’t make eye contact, and if you say hi to him, he’ll just look the other way. Don’t let your gaze tarnish his expensive suit. You are constantly told how crappy you are even if you hit your metrics you simply need to move faster. If you bring this up to management, they tell you that none of these issues are real and it is your perspective. In order to hit the metrics coworkers must cut corners, this affects our customer service and it makes it so our finance professionals have to call back three and four times to get anything done. The people who take the time to do the work and take care of the customers issues get reprimanded because their calls are too long. The reward for doing well on your metrics is that they give you more work , and you get an email saying that you did good on your metrics. It is an incredibly toxic workplace, the stress of having to stay there to pay your bills makes many of the employees sick, and they are quite often a few out on leave of absence due to mental health. Corporate doesn’t care eventually they will quit and they will just hire new ones.
