The opportunity to do "real engineering"- not social networking, etc.
Cons
The only way to make numbers is to cut people, and now the remaining folks are completely overloaded. The latest game is to have everyone enter their skills into SuccessFactors software so that they can be "strategically aligned with opportunities within the company". If there are so many opportunities, why are we closing an entire campus? I think mgmt realize that there are no more small cuts left to make. Time for some MAJOR changes, like entire divisions. It's time to start ranking people.
