Pros
KLD has some very knowledgeable people on both the technical side and management. Great people! You can learn a lot at KLD and management works hard with you. There are some solid folks in SR management as well as some excellent mid level managers. You can learn a LOT working with some of the best tech folks in the business.
Cons
Some large acquired companies have not been entirely integrated leading to technical stumbling blocks and barriers between groups that can cause some real headaches. Very little work life balance. The collaborative environment I enjoyed pre-acquisition changed to a more top down, paranoid, CYA culture. There is a high risk of burnout, particularly among project and mid level managers. Pay is low for the level of expectations.
