Pros

I don't think I can give any pros.

Cons

- HR told us there was no Java. At the interview we were told that Java exists but is small and will be wholly rewritten to C#. In reality Java is fully there, and new features are also written in Java (when they hire C# developers). - The application's architecture is awful, there are no guidelines and no fully-encompassing onboarding setup steps. - Frontend is being written by Backend developers, because the company does not want to hire Frontend/Fullstack developers - the only offers are for .NET developers. - So called "1on1"s which are just you talking with your managers about how other people have insulted you or what they did wrong. - Being lied to about the current state of the leadership decisions. - No promotion process and no per-title requirements, which means you are doing an Architect's job while being paid an SE I salary. - There's no business career path and no raises - The polish management is completely passive against the American leadership while being hostile to their own developers. - New hires have much better salary than older employees. - As a developer you mostly work as a code monkey - any discussion about the architecture or how things should be done is met with disregard of the developer.

Pros

HR department was decent to deal with.

Cons

- Lack of focus on strategy, seemingly endless shifts in priorities week to week, month to month, year after year. Not congruent change, not progressive change, but chaotic disorienting change. - Upper management claims to have an absolute "No A-holes" policy, claims to want to encourage cooperation and growth. Then turns around and is fully complacent with obviously toxic behavior from people in positions of authority, especially technical authority. These toxic interactions gradually wore down people's desire to engage.
