      Good firm with good perks but not agile - Project Manager KLDiscovery Employee Review

      Pros

      KLD allows its employees to fully work remotely. You get to work on international projects and with colleagues all over the world. They have a robust process for doing project management.

      Cons

      There are too many barriers between the teams and the firm is not agile enough. This works fine in theory but in practice some employees might want to take some initiatives but cannot due to the strict procedures in place.

      HR department was decent to deal with.

      Cons

      - Lack of focus on strategy, seemingly endless shifts in priorities week to week, month to month, year after year. Not congruent change, not progressive change, but chaotic disorienting change. - Upper management claims to have an absolute "No A-holes" policy, claims to want to encourage cooperation and growth. Then turns around and is fully complacent with obviously toxic behavior from people in positions of authority, especially technical authority. These toxic interactions gradually wore down people's desire to engage.
