Pros
Great environment. Professional, but also an enjoyable and friendly environment to work in. Great mentorship and hands on experience. Depends on the project and team, but even as an intern I was able to do design work and create construction documents with senior review. Everyone is willing to answer questions and take the time to invest in the development of their interns.
Cons
As an intern I can't think of many cons in working here. Pretty much everyone, even the principles are friendly, helpful and available most of the time and the projects that KPFF works on fairly exciting. Maybe the pay is a little low, but the experience and learning is worth getting paid a little less than what you might get at a larger firm.
