Pros
Looks good in the resume. Opportunity to get Aeroplan elite status.
Cons
Leadership lacks vision and direction. As long as you are willing to put aside your career aspirations and do what it takes to keep your billable hours high, you will grow in the firm. There really aren't a lot of industry-leading work that is being done at KPMG. Most of the work being done is compliance/audit related re-occurring work which does not help you build a core skillset that is sellable in the market. Instead, you will morph into a generalist without any special skillset. Ironically, consulting is a line of work that calls of professionals to have specialized skills and can offer insights to their client (Which is why clients hire you, but are grossly disappointed after-the-fact in the case of KPMG)
