Pros
In the beginning of my time working with Kadiant, I had a case load that was manageable and my mileage was well reimbursed. My supervisor was really helpful and schedulers were also great.
Cons
Once COVID-19 hit, I got all my case load taken away and only left with one client, Monday through Friday from 9-5pm in one of their clinic locations. At first, I was really understanding even though it was taking a toll on me trying to be with high spirit energy trying to run lessons to an autistic child. However, after a year later with the same client and same schedule, I started to crack. When I first applied to this position, I expected to learn and grow from the experience that I expected to receive. It felt more like a daycare and a business than a therapeutic environment. I started to become sick and would request days off to make it to my appointments since my schedule wasn’t flexible but my work environment would make me feel guilty my stating that they wouldn’t have coverage. I never experienced feeling burned out at a job before! I felt so underpaid and undervalued. After having 2 years working here, I finally decided to quit because my mental health was at stake and I needed a fresh new start away from this environment. Best decision I ever made.
