Pros
I appreciate the commitment to learning— from tuition discounts at universities, professional development stipend, to monthly internal CEU events and monthly professional development and peer collaboration opportunities at our monthly meetings. Behavior Technicians each have a Mentor RBT to provide peer mentorship and support both in the field during shadow sessions and outside of session to help onboard BTs to be successful in their role. In addition to the support and supervision on their cases, Behavior Technicians also have monthly group RBT supervision and continuing education at the monthly All Team Member Meeting. The quality of mentorship and learning opportunities stands out to me compared to my other experiences. Lastly, I appreciate that there is attainable competitive incentive pay for each position that allows BTs and supervisors to earn more for going above and beyond.
Cons
Integrating companies has its challenges, but things have stabilized and are pretty smooth now.
