Pros

The insurance is pretty good, even for part time. The pay is decent, especially if you work nights and/or weekends and as a meal service rep, but if you were in the coffee shop you won't make as much. You do get your foot in the door for other positions around the hospital.

Cons

Understaffing, meaning there is no such thing as a flexible schedule. They hire you for part time and then give you full time hours, even if you are in school. The managers have terrible communication with each other and with their employees. There is blatant favoritism.

Kadlec is a great company to work for with amazing benefits. You receive a 750$ HSA card for each dependent on your insurance plan. Absolutely amazing the difference in healthcare you make with the patients, with room to grow to better yourself as a technician.

Cons

Toxic work environment, zero accountability, favoritism within management. The shifts are all variable, you will get thrown evenings to mids, to early AM's working every other weekend. PTO first comes first serve and only one person on your weekend allowed to be out at a time. If they are short staffed, you will be denied your PT. Racist and you will not thrive if you have any sort of accent. Be prepared to be belittled if English is not your first language.
