Pros
There are great people working for this company and my coworkers are genuine people who make the day bearable. The president of the company does a great job making an effort to get to know each employee beyond just their name. It's also great knowing that from start to finish, we create, manufacture, and ship the product - it's rewarding.
Cons
Ever since the company became part of a corporation, it becomes a numbers game. Upper management stops caring about the people - manufacturing is asked to break record numbers every quarter while internal departments are asked to perform duties well beyond their job titles so another person doesn't need to be hired. Manufacturing managers are allowed to dip into our profits in order to ship parts on our dime in order to meet month end goals. Because of the intense pace our manufacturing team is required to make, the quality of the product decreases however upper management doesn't seem to care and they continue to let this happen. There is a vast amount of turnover within all departments which is due to the pressure of the job and the very noticable lack of fair play. Compared to other aerospace companies in the area, almost all departments are paid significantly less than the market average.
