Low paying job for the field - Class C Mechanic Kaman Employee Review

Starting pay for a class C mechanic is $12.00. Seems low for building military helicopter assemblies. After one year of good service with a low scrap rate yields a 30 cents per hour raise. Gee thanks. Most people I talk to would jump ship at a better offer right away. Good place if you need the job badly.
