some good co-workers, hard working and under paid.

Cons

politicians undermine efforts to carry out service for the public and community good. Very frustrating for those with any sense of integrity and belief that the City should serve the common good, and not cater to private greed.

Random City benefits like free bike rentals. Getting to randomly meet city politicians.

Cons

Bureaucracy, organizational messiness. Co-workers gossiped blatantly about people and some were genuinely horrible at their job and had been their years. I went through the ADA Accomodations process over Zoom where where they all had their cameras off while reviewing my requests. I had to work an hour and half later just for two 15 minute breaks a day. My manager lied in the name clearing process.
