Pros

The product has potential, but the internal culture destroys any chance of success.

Cons

The London office is led by a "fake" management style. The BDR Manager and VP of Sales talk a good game about empathy and culture, but the reality is pure micromanagement. The manager is largely inactive and avoids actual work, showing a complete lack of respect or manners toward the team. There is zero psychological safety. The sales team is essentially silenced; people are afraid to speak up or share ideas because of the history of sudden layoffs and "performance" firings. There is a clear double standard. Progression and support are prioritised for the US team, while the UK office is left with constant "survival of the fittest" atmosphere. The environment is fueled by gossip. It’s common to hear employees and leadership talking badly about one another behind their backs. It is an exhausting, "fake" environment where appearances matter more than actual results or employee well-being.

Pros

The merger has created a real sense of momentum here. We’re no longer thinking in terms of individual teams or regions — we’re operating as a truly global company with a unified strategy. Leadership is leaning into long‑term thinking, cross‑border collaboration, and building a stronger, more scalable business. It feels like we’re entering a new chapter with bigger opportunities and a clearer vision for where we’re headed.

Cons

Change can be disruptive, especially when it happens quickly. Even positive transformation creates uncertainty, shifting priorities, and temporary ambiguity around roles and processes. Not everyone adapts at the same pace, and the constant adjustment can feel exhausting without clear communication and steady leadership support. Leadership has been transparent.

Pros

Some good IC level coworkers remain since the merger

Cons

Watching Mavenlink decline into what is now Kantata has been the most disappointing experience of my professional career The mantra of "do more with less" has been pushed for a few years now. The workers who remain have inherited all the responsibilities of former employees who quit or were let go through constant layoffs There are only so many full-time jobs a single employee can do at once
