Pros
Coworkers were nothing short of amazing. Great group of people they have on staff and middle management works hard to train their teams.
Cons
C-Suite is something out of a nightmare. This company was once an amazing place to work and the culture was phenomenal. Over the past year though the "silent layoffs" became more and more prevalent. This past December was the big one. A lot of tenured, high-performing employees were let go two weeks before the holidays with no heads up and pretty pitiful severance packages. The cliche "you're just a number" became a reality when about 10% of the employees received an email at 3 am the day of the layoff informing them what was in store for them. A lot of good people had to pay the price for poor leadership decisions. Ironically, though the layoff was to help clear up budget, the leadership team still thought it was a great idea to have a professional fireworks show at the last sales kickoff. Not to mention the pricey office spaces in California and London (even though they're a remote company). I write this review just to warn future employees of what may be awaiting them 6 months, 1 year, or 2 years down the line. Regardless of performance or tenure, at the end of the day you are in fact just a number at Kantata.
