Pros
Lesson plans are easy, (my) manager is helpful, easy to navigate resources, opportunities to cross train and get even more assignments, compensation is alright
Cons
No community or culture, little guidance, it puts you in a bad position when there are errors on the backend (like building reservations, tech support/helpline unresponsive, classroom materials sent late to students) because you’re the point of contact for all students and parents, management doesn’t care about overloading you with assignments, hard to bank on the income unless you have a steady tutee because classes are cancelled often (so you’ll send your FM lots of preferences in hopes that you’ll have a class run, but it may be that all classes run and you’re teaching 3 at once), compensation could be better (minimum wage for time spent on prep isn’t really fair)
